PTL (Parent Teacher League)
We commit our time and talents for the enrichment of our children and school in a Christ centered manner.
Some specific functions the PTL serves include:
- Liaison with the Administration
- Fellowship with other parents
- Volunteer opportunities within the school community such as Scrip, Auction, Teacher Treat and Carnival
- Fun activities for students, such as Ice Cream Social, Daddy/Daughter Dance, Welcome Back Picnic and Carnival
The PTL meets regularly and is always looking for active parents to participate in meetings and serve on commitees. Won't you consider joining with other involved parents? This is an exciting way to stay up-to-date on what's happening at your child's school.
8th Grade Hours Co-ordinator Duties - Scheduling students to PTL sanctioned events using sign-up sheets. Reminding students several days ahead of time of the events they have volunteered for. Keeping track of the hours each student earns and needs to fulfill their obligaiton. Providing above information to parents and students at regular intervals during the year. Providing information to parents, students, office staff and middle school teachers about the events that is "hours" related.
