Through "Together in Mission" (TIM) St. Paul congregation partners in ministry with the Lutheran Church – Missouri Synod to send missionaries all over the world. We especially support Pastor Matt Heise who is serving in Moscow, helping to teach, lead, and encourage the Lutheran Christians there who are rebuilding the church that was persecuted by the Communists for 70 years. Our direct support for Pastor Heise helps him to provide training and guidance for pastors in a large part of the old Soviet Union.

We don't just send money. Members of St. Paul are also involved through Short-Term Mission opportunities. In recent years we have sent our members to Panama, Russia, Latvia, China, Siberia, Germany, as well as communities in need here in the US like Biloxi, Mississippi. Watch for regular opportunities to be a part of a mission team!

Finally, we support other organizations that show loving care and share God's Word with people around the world. We collect assistance for Lutheran World Relief in the fall, and we support People of the Book Lutheran Outreach (POBLO) to the Islamic people in the United States and in the Middle East.
